About Me

leighmo: Welcome all! My name is Leighla, I have always done my best to avoid getting caught up in the mess called "politics" but here I am, in a Texas & Local Government course. Where do I stand in this? I suppose I would categorize myself as a Liberal. I have worked for a grassroots organization, making phone calls to people, asking for donations to a specific cause, it was all scripted and very upsetting. Although I am taking this class by requirement, I hope to expand my knowledge on my rights as a native Texan as well as all of the nooks & crannies of our state government.
